Introduction of two New Weekly Trains between Tuticorin (presently Madurai) & Dwaraka Express and Dibrugarh-Kanniyakumari Vivek Express


1. Train No. 19567/19568 Tuticorin (presently Madurai) – Dwaraka – Tuticorin Express

The New Weekly Express Train between Tuticorin (presently Madurai) – Dwaraka – Tuticorin , via Wadi has been introduced with effect from 18thNovember, 2011.

Train No.19567 Tuticorin (presently Madurai) – Dwaraka Weekly Expresswill depart Tuticorin at 02.00 hrs o­n Mondays and arrive Dwaraka at 00.50 hrs o­n Wednesdays. In the return direction, Train No. 19568 Dwaraka – Tuticorin (presently Madurai) will depart Dwaraka at 00.20 hrs o­n Fridays and will arrive Tuticorin at 03.45 hrs o­n Sundays.

Enroute thesetrains will stop at Jamnagar, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Solapur, Gulbarga, Wadi, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Guntakal, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, Yelhanka, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Salem, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudunagar, Satur, Kovilpatti and Vanchi Mniyachchi Junction in both the directions.

This train will consist of o­ne 2 AC, o­ne 3 AC, seven Sleeper Class, six General Second Class, o­ne Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches and o­ne Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van (with facilities for differently abled persons), totalling to eighteen.

2. Train No. 15905/15906 Kanniyakumari – Dibrugarh - Kanniyakumari

Vivek Weekly Express

The New Weekly Express Train between Kanniyakumari – Dibrugarh - Kanniyakumari Vivek Express will be introduced with effect from 26th November, 2011.

Train No.15905 Kanniyakumari - Dibrugarh Vivek Weekly Expresswill depart Kanniyakumari at 14.00 hrs o­n Saturdays and arrive Dibrugarh at 03.30 hrs o­n Wednesdays. In the return direction, Train No. 15906 Dibrugarh – Kanniyakumari Vivek Weekly Express will depart Dibrugarh at 23.45 hrs o­n Saturdays and will arrive Kanniyakumari at 10.25 hrs o­n Wednesdays.

Enroute thesetrains will stop at Nagercoil Junction, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam Junction, Chengannur, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrisur, Palakkad Junction,Coimbatore Junction, Tiruppur, Erode Junction, Salem Junction, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Nellore, o­ngole, Vijayawada Junction, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Duvvada, Vizianagaram, Srikaulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Midnapur, Bankura, Adra, Asansol, Durgapur, Rampurhat, Malda Town, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar Junction, Kokrajhar, New Bongaigaon, Goalpara Town, Guwahati, Jagiroad, Lumding, Dimapur, Furkating, Mariani and New Tinsukia in both the directions.

This train will consist of o­ne 2 AC, two 3 AC, seven Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches, totalling to nineteen.
