Sri.P.K. Mehta, IPS., Director General, Railway Protection Force (RPF), New Delhi visited South Central Railway, today ie, 07.07.2011.At a meeting held at Zone’s Headquarters,Rail Nilayam, he addressed the RPF Officials and reviewed the Security arrangements on SCR.
Sri.B. Mohan, IG, RPF, South Central Railway, welcomed the Director General and briefed on the security arrangements in Railway Stations, Railway installations and Integrated Security Systems at Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Tirupati Railway Stations.
Sri.P.K. Mehta, also met Sri.V.Dinesh Reddy, DGP, Andhra Pradesh, Sri.G.N.Asthana, General Manager, SCR, Sri.S.V. Prasad, Chief Secretary to Government of Andhra Pradesh in connection with Security arrangements in Railways.Sri.P.K. Mehta, informed that the strength of the RPF will be increased shortly as per the increasing work load in Railways.
Earlier, the DG, RPF was given a Guard of Honor by the RPF personnel.
